Cora received her Masters in Physiotherapy from McMaster University. She also completed her undergraduate degree at McMaster, majoring in Kinesiology and minoring in Anthropology. During this time, she worked as a research assistant, studying bone electron microscopy, and as a volunteer, assisting participants in the MacTurtles Cardiac Rehabilitation Program. Cora moved to Toronto in 2011 and has very much been enjoying working as a physiotherapist in the GTA.
Throughout her career, Cora has maintained a special focus in pelvic floor physiotherapy, manual therapy, acupuncture, and the prevention of running injuries. Her participation in courses through Pelvic Health Solutions, AFCI, OrthoCanada, and the Running Clinic continue to advance her knowledge and skills in treating urinary and bowel incontinence, acute and persistent pain, running-related injuries, pelvic organ prolapse, overactive or weakened pelvic floor muscles, and much more! Cora is also passionate about providing pre- and post-natal care to new mums!
Cora has worked extensively with clients from all walks of life to achieve the best possible treatment outcomes. Her passions as a physiotherapist are to help patients regain functional independence and overall well-being. As an evidence-based practitioner, she works closely with each patient to set precise goals and customize unique treatment plans, using the best therapies and techniques supported by high-quality clinical research. Truthfully, there is nothing more fulfilling than helping someone achieve a desired outcome!
In her spare time, Cora enjoys running, hiking, and swimming. She also comes from a very artistic background and grew up studying music and theatre. When not treating patients, she can often be found doing crossword puzzles, jogging through Toronto, or dancing to her favourite tunes!
