Renee Pilgrim R.Ac, R.TCMP has built a practice based on referrals of her clients and her abilities to meet people where they are at and help them determine where it is they want to go. Her clinical approach is informed by her firm foundation in tradition, her keen interest in current research and the feminist perspective.
In Renee’s practice the therapeutic relationship between client and practitioner is key. Treatments are tailored to a patient’s needs. The men and women that come for treatment discover a practical and direct approach to easing their discomfort. Herbal Medicine, acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, Gua Sha, Tunia, and nutritional therapies are used to help the body restore balance. Alongside physical therapy, Renee supports patients in gaining insight and cultivating awareness into underlying issues so they can actively promote their own self-healing. Factors such as diet, lifestyle, nutrition, exercise and stress management are considered as they can affect physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being.
As a strong believer of engaging in the process of life and striving for further development she continues to learn from some of Traditional East Asian Medicines’ finest teachers. A practitioner, teacher, workshop facilitator and clinical supervisor she regularly organizes, produces and attends professional conferences.
